Hi, can u tell me how to put adsense search code at MP? My MP themes is tulip themes. I try to pu the code at welcome column after my lilypie ticker. But it became croud. Please help . thx

I've read the terms.but how about this site? as u see at the top of the title theres google search icon. Is that against the terms too? or u may see the google search at http://customizedthemes.multiply.com/. Can u explain those 2 case?

That search form in front of this page is not using AdSense, just normal/regular one.

adsense PUTs ADS in your site/pages/posts, when clicked, you get points - that earns you money.. the google search used here and in others does not fall under the adsense. Google's search and Google's adsense are very different things..

If i'm not wrong, i read from the https://www.google.com/adsense , theres two kind of adsense. First adsense for Search and second adsense for content. What we see at this page is the example off Adsense for search and what its show in the raight rail is Adsense for content that belongs to your web content.Those two kind Adsense code can we have if we register as Google Adsense account.After that we may take the codes and just copy and paste at our web. My conclusion are, adsense for content doesnt support for MP because MP had already those Ads automaticly. But for Ads for search , that still blank for me. How can this page put the normal search google? where they copy the code?

There is an Adsense for Search, similar, but DIFFERENT from the Search in this group. The Search used in this group is actually a Custom Search - Looks the same, but is different from the AdSense Search.

so u are referring to the ads in the results page

yep its an add but IT ISN'T MY ADD!!!

it is added by google it self

the search box is a CUSTOM SEARCH box
nothing of adsense

here the start page for the custom search

u must to have a google account to set a custom search

when u make a custom search u have to choose

view the add in the results
or to choose
doesn't view add ONLY FOR REGISTERED NO PROFIT ORGANITATION, UNIVERSITY and GOVERNEMENTAL INSTITUES
I suppose do not fall in those cases so I choose to view the add

its like in any other gadget u add here in the pages ,,
such as a stat counter
or a map visitor or
a chat box
or any other thing
almost any of those has some add in the pages of the view
but of course you know
that is added by the site giving the service
as a pay for the service
the same thing happens for the custom search
only the service is given by google it self

there is the visitor map

you see there is a google add in the result page

but u know that google add NOT IS MY ADSENSE
right?

the same thing happens for the custom search

I prefer the page without the adds :)

no view add
.. but ,, It is changed alone
not my decision

I suppose google is valutating the content of this site
deciding to remove the add,,,,
probably the site looks alike a no profit organitation

now there is another time the ad :)))
it changes a bit frequently ,,
in my preference in the service for the custom search
without my comand
sometime view ads sometime no view ads

seriously I have not idea why
I have clear only a thing
that adsense NOT IS MY ADSENSE

I think it's a different version running there. linda said it must be lfom who provided the search box. It's a different search than the one in http://makulitrepublic.multiply.com/ too (which I think is the same as your). I don't see the link "What's this page" on the other custom searches..

I'm just wondering why there's a link to the AdSense account there (which - even if it's not earning anyone an amount - still promotes the "AdSense" feature) which doesn't show on the other Search Boxes that we are using..

well

the first is in modify
its the normal personalized custom search
it searches in modify group or in the web
the action is referred to this link
http://www.google.com/search

the second is in usersupport
it is in some manner refferred to this link
http://www.google.com/custom
it searches in usersupport group or in the web
it has the google ad at the top of the page and it is the adsense program of MP

the third is in grouped
I name that custom search ... ok
it is reffered to this link
http://www.google.com/cse/
it searches in all the groups I decide
(at the moment 5 or 6 )
the ad in the right rail is independently added by google it self.

I was wrong on that part, it wasn't said.. I was thinking, since the question is "What is this page?" and when clicked, it forwards you to the AdSense page, it must REALLY be in AdSense.

I think I turned it off..

It seems like the Multiply Staffs are the one who put the Seatch Box in the User Support Group, that's why it has an AdSense..

I think
it is the adsense of MP
usersupport is the most important official group
it is linked directly from the contact us page

no idea who admin the group
anyway if it isn't directly administred by the staff
simply the MP staff given the code to add in the welcome box to some admin of the group
so money goes to MP

The Search function, top of page, as well as the Search box at User Support are both part of Multiply. The top one part of the software, and the one at USG, put there by Multiply Staff. Those two are specifically designed to do several things of which Multiply is the only one allowed to make money doing so here. That's why it's against the terms to use any search feature etc associated with adsense.
