Add something like this to the end of your Custom CSS (be aware that I will work only on IE and maybe on Opera too):

/* CURSOR: BODY */
body { cursor:url("http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/7681/cur17rh0.gif"),default; }

/* CURSOR: LINKS */
a,a:link,a:visited,a:active,a:hover { cursor:url("http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/7681/cur17rh0.gif"),default; }

lfom wrote on Apr 3, '07
I think it works on Windowze, sometimes... Maybe due to an add-on... Not sure.
puma1504 wrote on Apr 3, '07
I thought it only works for IE but not MF...

Before searching for an animated cursor, I suggest reading this post.

I view that cursor only with opera and firefox not with ie6
anyway it is a gif ...
it is better to use a .cur or .ani

For Us to USE With your permission of Course ( ^_^ )
mariatv wrote on Apr 7, '07
the plus sign in this site is one of the standard cursors added in body section
body {
cursor:crosshair;
}

the butterfly is the code in the first reply of Luiz added in railstart and rail body sections

.railstart {
cursor:url("http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/7681/cur17rh0.gif"),default;
}

.railbody {
cursor:url("http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/7681/cur17rh0.gif"),default;
}

puma1504 wrote on Apr 9, '07
but I have choosen from sites who make cursors not allowed for Firefox!! got it?
mariatv wrote on Apr 9, '07
where?
puma1504 wrote on Apr 9, '07, edited on Apr 9, '07
everywhere! as I use the Firefox
when I googled out some cursors, none of them were accepted.
nonio wrote on Apr 9, '07, edited on Apr 9, '07
I think this code is universal for all the webreaders
so I don't understand what means not accepted
it means that the cursor in not displayed???

here in multiply?
in some other site?
what means
when I googled ut some cursors none of them were accepted.???

accepted where and what means not accepted
puma1504 wrote on Apr 9, '07
???
puma1504 wrote on Apr 9, '07
the cursors I have found come from Google
& when I add the codes they do not work here on MP !!!
nonio wrote on Apr 9, '07
-- ok ,, now it is clear to me .. sorry me dear ,, I'm slowly to understand
puma1504 wrote on Apr 9, '07
well..?
nonio wrote on Apr 9, '07
welll ... maybe is better if you say me where is this code for the cursor !!!!!

cause I cannot say why a code doesnt work without looking that :-))
nonio wrote on Apr 9, '07, edited on Apr 9, '07
actually you are using
cursor:crosshair;

....with good results :-)
puma1504 wrote on Apr 9, '07, edited on Apr 9, '07
I am not using anything any cursor
nonio wrote on Apr 9, '07
you are not using custom cursors now
but you are using the
cursor:crosshair;
in body section

anyway I have not got what is this mysterious cursor not working in FireFox
puma1504 wrote on Apr 9, '07
any of them are for other sites like myspace..............
mariatv wrote on Apr 9, '07
... I don't want to search a not working cursor now !!! :-))))

if you put here a code for any cursor not working I'm very curious now ,,
if you do not want steal a cursor you could send me the code with a PM
mariatv wrote on Apr 9, '07
ok .. now I go to steal a cursor in myspace ...
mariatv wrote on Apr 9, '07
I do not find any custom cursor in myspace
afterinfo wrote on Apr 10, '07
I Think they are winding you up & having a joke with you
cause all your cursor codes are working 100% for me with all
browsers i have tested them on..

Here is another cursor AfterText which is mine version & not see in
anyother place of mine....
zyannadam wrote on Apr 10, '07
this brings me to tell you this story.. some time ago.. when i was looking for cursors.. the websites i went to like bigoo etc, i can't view their displays of cursors using firefox so I have to actually "shop" for cursors using my IE browser. And strangely, after putting the cursor in my site, I can actually see the cursor, behaving perfectly normally.. in all browsers.. (now that is strange)
mariatv wrote on Apr 10, '07, edited on Apr 10, '07
it is very simple in a web page to inhibit a webreader simply by using some line of javascript for to separate a browser from another one
and I think it is a plausible that microsoft acquire some site for to make this kind of behavior

cause for internet explorer since 1 years is becoming a disaster .. tnx to firefox ...

and this is exactly the behavior I wait for Microsoft

now in MP ie is at 55% and is going down 1 ,2 ,3 % every month

hey ,, zyanti .. I have received this message only now in the board ,, and with this account :-)
mariatv wrote on Apr 10, '07
anyway if some cursor doesnt work it happens with ie5 and ie6
afterinfo wrote on Apr 11, '07
Thats Cuz "IE" Sux's
zyannadam wrote on Apr 11, '07
kekekeke.. i second that..
puma1504 wrote on May 6, '07
